Black and Latino households often face median net worths that are a fraction of their white counterparts, highlighting deep-seated systemic inequalities. These disparities mean that many families struggle to access the same opportunities for wealth-building and long-term stability. Economic fairness is not just a goal; it is a necessity. By addressing these gaps directly, we aim to provide the resources and support needed to bridge the divide and empower every individual to achieve financial wellness regardless of their background.

Our methodology relies on the dedication of IRS-certified tax clinic volunteers who provide expert assistance to those in need. We focus on moving people from simply 'getting by' to truly 'getting ahead' by offering sustainable financial tools and education. Our History
REEC founded in 2025 by a dedicated group of accountants committed to economic fairness and wealth-building access. We support small business owners and individuals with professional tax preparation and inclusive financial opportunities. Our history is built on helping community members transition from getting by to getting ahead.
Our Strategic Plan
REEC has four main goals that guide its work and commitment to our community.
